Be vewy quiet....I'm hunting wabbit.....

Can you believe this weather today? I'm going to enjoy my wogging after work at the track (if it's not in use). Is it just me? Or am I the only one who likes tracks? I don't really like looking over my shoulder and looking around for cars and traffic. I like my oval, plus I know that four times around equals a mile. Problem is....I can't get past ten laps! I don't seem to be making much progress, but hey, it's still February. However with the track I see the same bleachers over and over, whereas on the road, I might spy something neat on the run. I guess there are pros and cons to each venue. Either way, I'm moving, it's kicking by behind, and I'm getting some cardiovascular benefits.

Thought for the day: "We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give." - Winston Churchill.

i do the tracks at the local football field some, but i try to walk to them, then do what i need to do, but i like walking on the road or somewhere like that, easy to get to one spot then i KNOW I have to walk back.sometimes im not as disciplined as i should, if i get tired, ill quit if i can.

You're the best and I can't wait to see the concert. Thank you so much.

I do want to do something nice for your being so nice...I guess a chocolate cake would be out of order, though, huh?! I'll think of something that's non fattening!

I will look for you at the meeting on Sat. How about we meet at the sign in desk right after the meeting before we all get out for the wog.I'll have on a red t-shirt and black shorts. I'm 5'4" (and I won't tell you how much I weigh, but I'm trying to lose 100 poounds!) I have short brown hair and usually have a pair of reading glasses hanging off my shirt neck. (I hate getting old!).

See you Saturday!

I like walking on the road only because the marathon is going to be on the road. our town has very relaxed leash laws, and I have to carry a stick to scare the dogs away.

change directions every two laps when doing tracks so as to keep yourself balanced. You can develop some problems going the same direction over and over.
