Thanks to all who commented on my last blog. It is so nice to know people care about you even when they just met you on a few short months ago, butt gaunlet and all! On a more somber note, my wife Tamara found a lump in her right breast that frightened us over the weekend. Luckily, on Monday pm, the radiologist drained a rather large cyst known as a complex cyst. It has already returned to full size again, but we are leaving for San Antonio on vacation in the morning. Please keep us in your prayers that it will not continue to grow any worse until we get back.
I will try and find a place to run where we are staying in Texas. I know it will be extremely tough doing it solo and not seeing everyone for encouragement. Maybe I'll eat some chili peppers before I start to give me some motivation! Just tell myself there is a glass of water just 15 miles away. I'll miss ya'll and see you guys on the 15th.

Be careful... My prayers are with you and your wife. Hopefully it will turn out as great as your news. We'll miss you!
Kelvin,
It was a pleasure to meet Tamara at the party. Please tell her that she is in my prayers. As for you, don't worry about those 15 miles. Just enjoy your vacation and family! You are already ahead of the pack. Suzanne

Kelvin,
I haven't been reading all the blogs on this trip (no time) but I have been trying to keep up with my "buds" as much as possible. Hope everything is okay with Tamara. I will keep her in my prayers. Glad all of your tests and stuff are okay. You can't keep a good man down!

I know you and Tamara are scared, but at least it's not a tumor. A friend of mine has ~20 cysts in each breast (she's busty) and has to get them drained regularly. If it comes to that, it will become just routine for her. Hang in there. I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss you on Saturday. Not sure I'm going to make it without your humor. I know you'll have fun in San Antonio though. Eat some good Mexican food for me! Ole!
Kelvin:
Have a great vacation, and don't stress over getting those 15 miles in. It's too hot to try to do that San Antonio anyway. We'll be thinking about you and Tamara.

I'll be praying for you and Tamara! I hope you enjoy your vacation. I'll see you next week!
I know that was a scare for your wife. As young as I am(25), I began having them at 18...(and I'm not like Christa's friend...I'm not "busty"), but I've had 2 outpatient surgeries to have a few taken out. But, I'm glad she is ok!
Ya'll have fun on your trip. Be careful.
"Ouch!" I hope your wife is going to be ok. That cannot be very comfortable. Ditto the others on the 15 mi. Relax ! :) My prayers are with you all.
