Good News!

Well today, the doc's office called and said my mole was non cancerous even though it looked like it. I told them while I was getting it taken off to go ahead and do a wax job on my back as well, but they wouldn't do it. (all together now.......eeeeeuuuuuuwwwww!!)

No seriously,

Then I checked my mailbox and got my results for the cardiac calcium screening. If you score >400, you need to have some work done. Mine was 0!!! Can you believe it? Big ole fat out of shape me who has felt like a ticking time bomb for twenty years was clear as a bell!! There was no evidence of any blockages anywhere around my heart! If you heard some high wind advisories today, that was just me breathing a sigh of relief! Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Maybe I won't be like my dad after all....... : )

Wow! that is awesome, I know that is a burden lifted. Now you can go forward and dominate with a clear mind. I am so happy for you. I am headed for San Antonio on the 14th for 6 nights with a 2 and 4yo. Have I lost my mind? Have a good one.

Great news! Looks like you got your mama's genes with regard to your heart. I am glad to know about this test. I have lots of heart disease on both sides of my family. Since I am now a big ole 60 with that kind of history AND I'm overweight (despite all the mileage i put in every week) :( I am going to sign up for that test. I had a nuclear stress test done which was normal but I will feel even better if I get a good score on this new test. BTW, you are a very SPECIAL part of this group...we all respect you as a person of stellar character and besides that, you are funny as hell! Again, so GLAD you had excellent test results!

Great news! No more excuses :) -- Oh, never mind, that was always me with the excuses!

Really glad you got such a good result. My Dad was so convinced he'd never see 70 and he lived until he was 86.

Every day is a miracle and a blessing.

Will be out of town next two weekends. See you on the flip side.
