What an awesome day on Saturday!! Wasn't it so much fun? I mean I had a complete 100% blast, didn't you? I couldn't wait to get home and do all the chores my wife had in store for me! I just didn't want Saturday to end!! I don't know about you, but I could have done another 12 miles or so. It was so nice outside, I could have ran forever!!!!!
("And now, a word from our sponsor.")
"Do you suffer from a post traumatic running disorder? If you are like hundreds of other crazy Mississippians, you may have what is known as 'The Runs'. Signs and symptoms include: getting out in horrid conditions to move at a quick pace; chaffing marks on your entire body, leg cramping and dizziness. More serious symptoms include thinking that you really liked having 'the runs' and telling people on the computer that you feel great! In these rare cases, seek immediate help so that they can slap the #$%&* out of you!"
Bring on July and August, Baby!! October's comin...........

OMG!!! You are sooooo funny! I'm laughing out loud right now.
LOL. You DO have the runs!
You are crazy.
By the way, the only thing that is keeping me going right now is the fact that I want my Christmas card picture this year to be of Steven and I with our medals in Chicago. Maybe I do have the runs.
This was worth staying up until 11:00 to read!!
I saw you Saturday laying on the ground - yep, you do have the runs!!

YOU ARE HILARIOUS!!!
KEEP blogging!
Do you have a single brother? I just love you!!!
How's the morning runs going? I get up and out of the house at 5:30 most mornings and it's already HOT! I have decided that afternoons at the track are NOT a good idea when it's still 96 at 6 pm. So last night I went to the indoor track at the healthplex. Hey I ran 3 minutes (should be about a lap at the outdoor track), walked 3 minutes and was able to do that 3 times with 90 second run/walk intervals in between! The other night at the track I could only do one 3 minute set. Last night I did 3 sets. AND my heart rate wasn't through the roof. Hope springs eternal that ONE DAY I will be able to run a mile!
As a wise man said on my blog..
...To infinity and beyond!
p.s. how's the nutrisystem going? I never did get anything from them.
ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
One more thing to pack in my Chicago marathon supply belt- Immodium for the runs. Care for some?
kelvin, you are so sweet (and funny!!!)
thanks for the cutest poem EVER!!
